Job summary

WSP Middle East is seeking a Saudi National Architect Inspector to join our supervision team for a project-based role in Riyadh. You will oversee construction to ensure adherence to architectural and structural design, working with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with at least 5 years of site-based experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM, and prior consultancy exposure. Saudization applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant site-based architectural supervision experience.
• Experience with reputable architectural consultancy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and BIM tools.
• Experience on high-rise commercial and residential projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination with clients.
• Saudi national for Saudization purposes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction activities align with approved architectural and engineering plans.
• Supervise structural and architectural components per design specs.
• Monitor on-site safety and integrity of structural elements.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to resolve issues on-site.
• Evaluate and select materials and systems meeting architectural/structural criteria.
• Conduct routine inspections of materials for quality and specs.
• Maintain as-built drawings for project close-out.
• Update construction documents to reflect approved changes.
• Provide input to ensure design intent is maintained.
