Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Architectural Inspector to lead site quality checks, verify compliance with drawings, specs, and codes, and ensure defect-free workmanship in major building projects.

You will coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and QA/QC teams, review method statements, and support inspections by authorities. A strong BIM knowledge and Saudi GCC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in architectural inspection and construction supervision.
• Experience on high-rise and major building projects is preferred.
• Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of BIM-based construction coordination is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements and applicable codes and standards.
• Review contractor Inspection Requests IRs and perform site inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans ITPs.
• Verify that architectural materials and finishes installed on site are approved and comply with project specifications; Inspect mock-ups, samples, prototypes and benchmark installations prior to full-scale implementation.
• Coordinate with Structural Mechanical Electrical Landscape and QA QC teams to ensure multidisciplinary compliance and timely corrective actions.
• Support in quality assurance activities, audits, and project handover inspections.

Your role

Conduct inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications contract requirements and applicable codes and standards Review contractor Inspection Requests IRs and perform site inspections in accordance with approved Inspection amp Test Plans ITPs Verify that architectural materials and finishes installed on site are approved and comply with project specifications Inspect mock-ups material samples prototypes and benchmark installations prior to full-scale implementation Monitor construction quality and identify defects deficiencies and non-conforming works Verify implementation and closure of corrective actions related to quality observations and NCRs Review contractor method statements and quality procedures for architectural works Coordinate with Structural Mechanical Electrical Landscape and QA QC teams to ensure multidisciplinary compliance Inspect facade installations waterproofing systems sealants and building envelope works to ensure proper execution Verify dimensions levels alignments tolerances and finish quality against approved drawings Maintain accurate inspection reports snag lists punch lists and quality records Monitor contractor progress and provide updates on inspection status and quality performance Ensure compliance with project health safety environmental and quality requirements during construction activities Participate in site audits quality reviews progress meetings and technical coordination workshops Support authority inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Assist in material approval verification and monitor storage and handling of architectural materials Participate in snagging de-snagging testing commissioning support activities and project handover inspections Review as-built drawings warranties operation manuals and handover documentation related to architectural works Assist senior engineers and architects in resolving technical issues and site-related construction challenges Ensure all architectural works are completed in accordance with approved quality procedures and contract requirements

About you

Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Architecture Architectural Engineering Civil Engineering Building Technology or a related discipline Certification in Construction Inspection Quality Control or Architectural Inspection is preferred Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers SCE is an advantage Training in Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures is desirable Knowledge of BIM-based construction coordination is advantageous 5 to 10 years of professional experience in architectural inspection and construction supervision Minimum 3 years of experience on high-rise and major building construction projects Previous Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is highly preferred Experience working with consultants PMCs developers and contractors Experience in construction testing snagging handover and defect liability phases
