Job summary

WSP Middle East is seeking a Saudi National Architect Inspector to join our supervision team for a project-based role in Riyadh. You will oversee construction to ensure adherence to architectural and structural design, working with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with at least 5 years of site-based experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM, and prior consultancy exposure. Saudization applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant site-based architectural supervision experience.
• Experience with reputable architectural consultancy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and BIM tools.
• Experience on high-rise commercial and residential projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination with clients.
• Saudi national for Saudization purposes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction activities align with approved architectural and engineering plans.

• Monitor on-site safety and integrity of structural elements.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to resolve issues on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved architectural and engineering plans.
• Supervise the implementation of structural and architectural components, verifying compliance with design specifications and project standards.
• Monitor structural elements during construction to uphold safety, integrity, and stability requirements.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to resolve any structural concerns or discrepancies encountered on-site.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of construction materials and systems, ensuring they meet both architectural and structural criteria.
• Conduct routine inspections of materials to confirm quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Work closely with architects and design professionals to address and resolve design-related issues during construction.
• Provide input on construction details to ensure consistency with the overall design intent.
• Review and update construction documentation, including drawings and specifications, to reflect approved changes and modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date as-built drawings for future reference and project close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience working with a reputable architectural consultancy.
• Strong background in site-based architectural supervision and post-contract responsibilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM tools.
• Experience with high-rise commercial and residential projects.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and client relationship skills.
• Saudi National for Saudization purposes
