Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage end-to-end AR processes, ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of customer balances, and oversee timely collections. The role collaborates with Finance, Business, Operations, and clients to resolve balances and improve working capital.

Responsibilities include AR ledger monitoring, reconciliations, aging analysis, and proactive collections actions; month-end close, reporting, and adherence to controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Control, or similar finance role.
• Experience in a multinational organization, insurance brokerage, insurance, or financial services environment preferred.
• Proven knowledge of AR processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the AR ledger and ensure customer balances are accurate and up to date.
• Perform AR reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor aging and overdue balances; coordinate collections with stakeholders.
• Support month-end close, AR reporting, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and audit trails; support audits as needed.
