Job summary

Client of ALPLA is seeking an experienced accountant in Medina to manage payments, bank coordination, and cash positioning. The role requires handling tax filings, reconciliations, and journal entries while supporting year-end audit preparations.

Fluency in Arabic and English, with Oracle and Excel proficiency, is essential. You will contribute to monthly financial closes, prepare schedules, and participate in regular financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting is required.
• SOCPA certification is required/advantageous.
• 4–5 years of experience in the same field are expected.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payments in Oracle.
• Coordinate with banks and update cash position.
• Finalize and update tax filings and related matters.
• Assist with monthly financial closings and prepare necessary schedules.
• Prepare reconciliations and journal entries; assist with year-end audit preparation.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed.
