Job summary

eSense in Saudi Arabia seeks a skilled Mid/Senior Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle, ensure accurate financial closing, and maintain IFRS and local requirements.

You will handle Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax, prepare tax returns, and provide financial analysis to support management decisions. CMA preferred; 5+ years' experience and strong Excel/ERP skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries and general ledger.
• Handle VAT, Zakat, and withholding tax per ZATCA regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns on time.
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare periodic financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger, and financial closing.
• Handle Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax in accordance with ZATCA regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns on time.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and approvals of financial transactions.
• Coordinate effectively with external and internal auditors, providing required documents and explanations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Work with ERP and accounting systems efficiently.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
