Job summary

Alaryaf Recruitment seeks a seasoned Finance professional to lead the full accounting and finance cycle, prepare statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans. The role requires hands-on leadership in financial analysis, reporting, controls, and compliance within the Saudi/GCC market.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior accounting roles, expertise in ERP systems, and experience with Zakat and tax obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a finance specialization is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in accounting and financial management.
• Proven experience in responsibilities related to a Chief Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar role.
• Strong practical experience in financial statements, financial closing, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cash Flow Management, Financial Analysis, and Management Reporting.
• Previous experience in the Saudi or GCC market is preferred.
• Good knowledge of applicable Zakat, tax, and financial compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, ERP systems, and data analysis.
• Ability to develop financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, work independently, and remain hands-on when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company’s complete accounting and finance cycle.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and monthly/annual closings.
• Prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts; monitor variances.
• Develop internal controls, policies, procedures, and authorization frameworks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure tax/Zakat compliance.
• Provide senior management with a clear financial view and actionable recommendations.

Manage and oversee the company s complete accounting and finance cycle Prepare and review financial statements management reports and monthly and annual closings Prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts Budgeting Forecasting monitor actual performance and analyze variances Prepare and manage cash flow plans for 3-month 6-month and 12-month periods while monitoring liquidity and future funding requirements Analyze revenue expenses costs and profitability by business activity service customer and contract and provide actionable recommendations to management Monitor accounts receivable collections aging accounts payable payments financing installments financial obligations and due dates Prepare financial and management reports KPIs and financial dashboards for senior management Develop financial scenarios identify financial risks and opportunities and provide early warnings and recommendations to management Build and improve internal controls financial policies procedures and authorization frameworks Oversee accounting systems and ERP systems ensuring the accuracy integrity and reliability of financial data Coordinate with external auditors prepare audit requirements and monitor relevant Zakat tax and ZATCA compliance requirements Support the review and closing of the previous entity s accounts determine relevant balances and prepare the company s opening balances to ensure an organized financial and accounting transition Provide senior management with a clear financial view that answers Where are we now What should we expect in the coming months What are the key risks and opportunities What actions are required Perform any other work-related duties or responsibilities assigned by senior management based on the company s needs and priorities with flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when required.
