Job summary

Maintenance company is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Riyadh to manage general ledger, taxation, payables and receivables, bank reconciliations, insurance accounting, fixed assets, and database integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, fluency in English and Arabic, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP software; degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of continuous accounting experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of ZATCA compliance and Saudi tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure ledgers and reports.
• Prepare ZATCA VAT and Excise tax returns.
• Process accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely billing and collections.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Record insurance transactions and premium amortizations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and monthly depreciation.
• Maintain real-time financial data in databases for management review.

General Ledger

Journal Entries Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are systematically recorded maintain accurate ledgers balance sheets and trial balance reports

Taxation

ZATCA Compliance Prepare verify and submit Excise Tax and Value Added Tax VAT returns in strict accordance with ZATCA regulations

Payables Receivables

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions ensuring timely billing and collections

Bank Reconciliation

Reconcile monthly bank statements and proactively resolve any accounting discrepancies

Insurance Accounting

Follow up and accurately record all medical and vehicle insurance transactions and premium amortizations

Fixed Asset Management

Maintain comprehensive fixed asset records including asset tagging tracking monthly depreciation and supporting physical asset verification

Database

Financial Reporting Continuously update financial databases to ensure accurate real-time data is immediately available for management review

Experience: Minimum 5 years of continuous accounting experience (Mandatory).Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/accounting software.Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance.Knowledge: Hands-on experience with ZATCA compliance and Saudi tax regulations.
