Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement is desirable.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prevent losses due to theft, shoplifting and shrinkage.
• Conduct investigations of suspected losses, gathering evidence and working with law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms and other security measures to detect and prevent losses.
• Apprehend and detain individuals suspected of theft, following company policies and procedures.
• Prepare detailed incident, investigation and loss reports with accurate records.
• Collaborate with store management, security teams and law enforcement to prevent and investigate losses.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees on loss prevention techniques and procedures.
