Job summary

Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp is seeking an HR Lead for Saudi Arabia to lead country HR strategy and execution, representing HR on the Country Leadership Team. You will work within a multinational HR team advising business leaders on people strategies, and delivering HR programs and solutions aligned with local requirements.

The role requires degree-level HR/Business education and 5+ years in HR leadership; strong knowledge of Saudi labor regulations, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Human Resource Management, Business or similar.
• More than 5 years of experience in Human Resources management, HRBP/HR Lead/HR Manager roles.
• Proven track record advising business leaders and influencing at all levels.
• Experience in international/matrix organizations and Saudi labor market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Represent HR on the Saudi Country Leadership Team.
• Understand key business strategies and environment.
• Develop and implement HR plans with HR implications.
• Guide business leaders on talent management, development, culture, engagement, D&I, compensation, and performance management.
• Execute global and divisional organizational talent strategies.
• Support employer branding and talent attraction in local markets.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and employee relations.
• Drive transformation in HR operating model and streamline HR processes and tools.
• Collaborate with HR CoEs, operations, and other functions to support businesses.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders and the Levant HR community.
