This role focuses on acquiring and managing institutional and retail clients while ensuring strict adherence to KYC and anti-money laundering regulations. The incumbent will operate within the downstream mining value chain, supporting SGR's contribution to Vision 2030 by monetizing refined gold assets. The position requires a disciplined approach to sales execution and compliance in a regulated industrial environment.
The Sales Specialist will report directly to the Sales Manager and will play a key role in expanding SGR's market share in the Kingdom and GCC region. This position impacts revenue generation by converting market opportunities into secured sales contracts with verified clients. The role ensures that all commercial activities align with SGR's operational capabilities and regulatory obligations.
The Sales Specialist will execute the following responsibilities to achieve commercial and compliance objectives.
The role manages a diverse portfolio of institutional and retail clients to ensure consistent revenue growth and customer retention. The specialist identifies new business opportunities through market research and networking within the precious metals sector.
The incumbent prepares and negotiates sales agreements that reflect current market conditions and company pricing strategies. This position ensures all contracts are legally sound and comply with internal credit and risk management policies.
The specialist conducts thorough KYC checks on all new clients to meet OECD and internal AML standards. The role maintains accurate records of all due diligence documentation for audit and regulatory review.
The position monitors global gold prices and local market trends to provide actionable insights to the Sales Manager. The incumbent analyzes competitor activities to recommend adjustments in sales tactics and product offerings.
The role liaises with the Treasury and Logistics teams to ensure timely payment settlement and secure product delivery. The specialist coordinates with the Assay Lab to verify that all shipments include accurate weight and purity certificates.
The incumbent builds long-term relationships with key clients by providing exceptional service and market expertise. This position resolves customer inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
The specialist prepares weekly and monthly sales reports that detail performance against targets and pipeline status. The role provides accurate forecasts to support inventory planning and production scheduling decisions.
The position demonstrates deep knowledge of SGR's bullion products, hallmarks, and certification standards to clients. The incumbent educates customers on the value proposition of LBMA-compliant refined gold.
