The role focuses on promoting rotating equipment, engineering solutions, aftermarket services, and maintenance capabilities, with travel across the country.

The candidate will apply a strong Mechanical Engineering background to understand customer needs, present technical solutions, and build long‑term relationships with industrial clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• PMP certification preferred.
• OEM training certificates related to rotating equipment preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience related to rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience within rotating equipment sector.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell rotating equipment solutions across Saudi Arabia.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with customers.
• Visit customers, understand technical requirements, and propose equipment solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, product discussions, and meetings with clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tenders.
• Review specifications, datasheets, and requirements to ensure proper selection of equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, service, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
• Support complete sales process from opportunity identification to order follow-up.

Job description

ASAS ALJOOD General Contracting Company, located in Jubail Industrial City , is seeking a technically skilled and results-oriented Sales Engineer to support sales growth and business development activities across Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling ASAS ALJOOD’s portfolio of rotating equipment, engineered solutions, aftermarket services, overhauling, and maintenance capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong Mechanical Engineering background with hands-on experience in rotating equipment services sales, capable of understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, and developing long-term relationships with industrial customers.

The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and management to identify opportunities, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and deliver reliable solutions to clients in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water, Mining, and other industrial sectors.

Work Location:

(Travel across Saudi Arabia is required)

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell rotating equipment solutions, including pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum systems, gearboxes, motors, and related mechanical equipment.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Visit customers, understand their technical requirements, and provide suitable equipment solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, product discussions, and customer meetings.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets, and technical requirements to ensure proper equipment selection.
• Coordinate with engineering, service, and operations teams to provide effective technical solutions.
• Support the complete sales process from opportunity identification to quotation, negotiation, order follow-up, and customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and quotations to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain strong knowledge of rotating equipment applications, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, and opportunity forecasts.
• Support aftermarket business opportunities, including spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance services.
• Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, and technical events.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• OEM training certificates related to rotating equipment are highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment applications, engineering specifications, and industrial processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Mechanical Engineering experience related to rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum systems, gearboxes, motors, or similar industrial equipment).
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the rotating equipment sector.

Experience working with industrial customers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and end users is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment applications, technical specifications, and industrial processes.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical and commercial solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia as required.
