Job summary

KBR is seeking a Rotating Technician I to maintain rotating equipment and mechanical systems in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia. You will carry out installation, maintenance and repair to required standards, supervise task allocation, and ensure safe, compliant work practices under SATORP standards.

Candidates should have at least 7 years in oil & gas maintenance, strong leadership, and the ability to travel internationally and work in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
• An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment’s and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment’s.
• Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participates in Safety audits.
• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.
