Job summary

The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh is seeking female applicants for a PACU nursing role. The PACU at the main hospital provides post-operative care for adults and children and requires experienced nurses in a tertiary-care setting.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing, with years of experience per the ad, be fluent in Arabic, and have current RN licensure recognized in Canada, the United States, the UK, Ireland, Western Europe, Australia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with minimum 2 years' experience OR Associate's Degree in Nursing with minimum 4 years' experience.
• Must have at least 2 years' current PACU experience at a large tertiary-care hospital.
• Fluency in Arabic.
• RN license in Canada, the United States, the UK, Ireland, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in the PACU.
• Care for critically ill post-operative patients on an emergent/temporary basis as needed.

The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center KFSH amp RC is a modern 1 300 bed Joint Commission International JCI -accredited academic medical facility located in Riyadh the vibrant capital city of Saudi Arabia

Main Hospital The PACU at the main hospital has 38 beds and provides advanced nursing care to adult and pediatric patients who are in the immediate postoperative period or those who require minor surgical procedures

Critically ill post-operative patients will be cared for in the PACU on an emergent and temporary basis only

King Abdullah Centre for Cancer and Liver Diseases KACCLD In Fall 2017 the new 23 floor King Abdullah Centre for Cancer and Liver Diseases KACCLD opened to patients The KACCLD attached to the main hospital has its own PACU

Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing must have a minimum of two years experience Applicants with an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing must have a minimum of four years experience Current nursing (RN) license in: Canada, the United States, the UK, Ireland, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand Must have a minimum of two years current experience in PACU at a large tertiary-care hospital.
