Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Intermediate Engineer to join a PMO supporting major highway and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate across engineering disciplines, review designs, monitor progress, and ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality meet client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of related experience, and Saudi nationality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Proven working experience as a Project Engineer.
• Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages commonly associated with engineering.
• Proficiency with design software and the ability to undertake or review associated engineering calculations.
• Experience reviewing third-party designs and coordinating comments for approval.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Familiarity with applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Project management and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering scopes, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress against established requirements.
• Identify and document changes to the approved scope of work.
• Assist in establishing procurement scopes, schedules, and budgets and monitor related activities.
• Support bid analysis, including assessment of supplier availability and capability.
• Coordinate with Parsons technical support groups and relevant third parties.
• Assist the Project Manager with the planning, direction, supervision, and control of technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions.
• Verify that client criteria and agreed project scope requirements are addressed.
• Participate in decision-making meetings with the client, design consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, engineering practices, QA-QC policies, performance standards, and project specifications.
• Communicate with the Project Manager and other project participants to provide engineering assistance and technical support.
