Job summary

Unified Real Estate Development Company is seeking a Revenue Accountant to manage revenue recognition, collections, and receivable reviews. The role covers monthly revenue validation, leasing and renewal fee calculations, and tenant reconciliation across projects.

The ideal candidate has a accounting or finance degree and 4–6 years of experience in real estate accounting. Collaboration with Legal and Finance teams is essential to ensure accurate revenue postings and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue is recognized periodically based on contracts/agreements signed.
• Review and validate the completeness and accuracy of monthly revenue.
• Monthly revenue analysis.
• Review and validation of management fee calculation.
• Review and validation of leasing and renewal fees calculation.
• Review contracts amendments or modifications' financial impact.
• Review of credit notes – calculation, approval, documentation, etc.
• Review of Surrender approval form (SAF).
• Review of releasing of security deposit.
• Monitor new projects revenue.
• Validate discounts granted to tenants.

Job description

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for handling all revenue related matters, collections, receivable review, and tenant reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the company's revenue was recognized periodically based on contracts/agreements signed.
• Review and validated the completeness and accurateness of the monthly revenue.
• Monthly revenue analysis.
• Review and Validation of Management Fee calculation.
• Review and Validation of Leasing Fees and Renewal Fees calculation.
• Review and Validation of Contract Amendment or modification financial impact.
• Review of credit notes - calculation, approval, documentation etc.
• Review of Surrender approval form (SAF).
• Review of Releasing of security deposit.
• Monitoring and review of new projects revenue.
• Validation of discounts granted to a tenant.
• Profiling of tenants and ECL Calculations.
• Calculation and review of Revenue Straight lining.
• Posting of periodic and adhoc invoicing.
• Posting of daily receipts in Yardi.
• Prepare and share SOA to Legal Department in Arabic.
• Resolving tenant's dispute and queries.
• Analysing any Collection team and UAPM issues regarding receivables and recommend a solution.
• Tenant or Customer's ledger reconciliation and analysis.
• Prepare annual collection budget.
• Prepare, review and monitor monthly collection targets.
• Review and present collection report.
• Review and share daily collection update.
• Weekly collection target vs actualy reporting.
• Task which will be assigned from time to time by his/her supervisor/manager.
