Tawantech in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting transactions, VAT compliance, and financial reporting across real estate and construction projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and good English communication.

You will coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities and support month-end and year-end closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting reports.
• Handle VAT accounting, VAT returns, and VAT/tax refund claims in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review supporting documents and ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax refund submissions.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor project-related costs, expenses, and financial transactions, particularly for real estate or construction projects.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and relevant authorities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Practical experience with VAT and tax refund procedures.
• Good understanding of Saudi tax and VAT regulations.
