Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Control & Protection Design Engineer based in Saudi Arabia for leading HV substation projects. You will drive design of protection, LV systems, and interlocking, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure reliable, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, strong communication, and hands-on involvement in reviews, commissioning, and continuous improvement across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in project/EPC environments, especially in transmission and distribution or HV substations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to coordinate multiple work packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of control, protection, electrical distribution, telecommunications, monitoring, and LV systems for HV substations.
• Develop and review single-line diagrams, protection schemes, interlocking, and network designs.
• Ensure designs meet standards, regulations, and customer specifications; participate in design reviews and gate reviews.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors and procurement activities.
• Provide oversight during commissioning and contribute to continuous improvement.
