Job summary

FinOps Weekly is recruiting a Cloud Cost Governance Lead for a fully remote role based in Saudi Arabia. The position drives cloud cost visibility, governance, and optimization across Azure, AWS, and GCP, partnering with engineering and finance to ensure accurate billing and informed decisions.

You will own forecasting, budgeting, and cost reduction initiatives in a hands-on, data-driven environment while influencing cloud spend policies and governance maturity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud/infrastructure with FinOps exposure.
• 5+ years Azure cost management at scale.
• 3+ years AWS cost governance experience.
• GCP billing familiarity with BigQuery.
• Strong analytical mindset and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cloud cost visibility across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Monitor daily cost activity and anomalies; set alerts.
• Lead cost incident RCA with engineering, finance and cloud providers.
• Ensure alignment between provisioning and billing data.
• Develop cost reporting pipelines with Power BI/SQL/BigQuery.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and optimization initiatives.
