Job summary

Devoteam in Riyadh is seeking a Cloud Consultant specializing in Google Cloud. The role involves building, deploying, and managing secure cloud infrastructure in a hybrid environment, with hands-on execution across multi-cloud settings.

You will automate deployments with Terraform, support migrations, and work with clients to design scalable, compliant solutions while improving operational efficiency through FinOps practices.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and support.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud platform, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Understanding of core cloud concepts such as virtualization, containers, networking, IAM, and security.
• Familiarity with tools used for cloud assessment, migration, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with basic cloud security controls and compliance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Relevant Associate-level certification (e.g., Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and deploy IaC using Terraform.
• Support cloud migrations and infrastructure assessments.
• Manage routine cloud operations, including patching, backups, and recovery.
• Handle incidents and changes through ITSM workflows.
• Implement cloud governance and RBAC/ABAC policies.
• Participate in pre-sales workshops and document technical solutions.
• Maintain documentation of cloud environments and SOPs.
