Job summary

Qiddiya | القدية seeks a Cloud Cost Governance Specialist to drive transparency and control of cloud spending, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives. You will support budgeting, forecasting, dashboards, cost allocation and tagging, and provide advisory to application teams, platform engineering and cloud operations to optimize resource use and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
• Master's degree in MIS, Information Technology, Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years in IT financial operations, budgeting and cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain cloud cost governance policies, guardrails, and usage controls.
• Configure and manage cloud budget alerts to monitor spending.
• Publish and maintain cloud cost dashboards and reports.
• Support cloud cost budgeting and forecasting based on usage patterns.
• Implement and maintain cost allocation and showback mechanisms.
• Analyze cloud usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide cost optimization recommendations to teams.
• Evaluate commitment-based pricing options (CUDs) and lifecycle management.
• Work with teams to enforce cost governance and tagging.
• Maintain documentation and governance artifacts.
