Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a Cloud Cost Governance Specialist to oversee cloud financial management, ensuring transparency and alignment of cloud spend with financial objectives. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and governance across multiple teams in Riyadh.

You will configure budgets and alerts, publish dashboards, support cost allocation, and drive optimization efforts to reduce unnecessary spend while providing advisory to engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
• Master’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
• 3+ years in a relevant industry, preferably with majority in IT financial operations, budgeting and cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud cost governance policies, financial guardrails, and usage controls across teams.
• Configure and manage cloud budget alerts to monitor spending.
• Publish and maintain cloud cost dashboards and reports for visibility into spend and drivers.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting based on historical usage, growth, and planned initiatives.
• Implement cost allocation and showback mechanisms to attribute cloud spending.
• Analyze usage patterns to identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce spend.
• Provide cost optimization recommendations to application teams and cloud operations.
• Evaluate commitment-based pricing options such as Committed Use Discounts (CUDs).
• Support lifecycle management of commitment discounts and governance artifacts.
• Work with teams to enforce cost governance controls and tagging for visibility.
• Maintain documentation related to cloud cost management policies and reports.
