Jobgether is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer based in Saudi Arabia to lead the building of a scalable application security function within a high-growth tech environment. You will design secure software development practices, lead threat modeling and security reviews, and drive remediation across APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based systems.

You will own security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA), integrate AI-assisted testing into pipelines, and mentor engineers while delivering practical security

Formación

• 8+ years of software or security engineering experience.
• Hands-on app security in product engineering environments.
• Ability to write production-grade code in TS/JS/Go/Python or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement secure SDLC with security requirements and threat modeling.
• Own and improve app security tooling (SAST/DAST, SCA, secrets detection).
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines and reduce false positives.
• Develop an AI-first security engineering approach for automated remediation.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture security reviews for complex systems.
• Manage vulnerability identification, risk assessment, and remediation.
• Conduct hands-on testing including code reviews and vulnerability exploitation.
• Collaborate with security leadership and engineering teams to drive security priorities.
