Job summary

Jobgether in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Security to lead a growing security function in a fully remote technology environment. You will blend hands-on security work with leadership, shaping security standards, threat modeling, and vulnerability management across engineering teams.

You will guide IT and compliance, report to senior leadership, and drive an AI-first security program that scales with the business while maintaining customer trust.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security with hands-on app security experience.
• Proven track record building/maturing app security programs.
• Strong knowledge of secure software design and OWASP.
• Ability to read and understand application code.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading security initiatives while remaining hands-on.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted security tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the application security roadmap, including vulnerability management, threat modeling, security reviews, and remediation processes for new features and architectural changes.
• Conduct hands-on security reviews, triage vulnerabilities, collaborate with engineers on remediation, and scale the program.
• Embed security-by-default practices across the SDLC, including secure development standards and automated scanning in CI/CD.
• Design and implement an AI-first application security strategy with validation and oversight.
• Partner with engineering to avoid bottlenecks while strengthening development capabilities.
• Oversee third-party and vendor security assessments to meet security standards for sensitive data.
• Establish zero-trust principles and collaborate on network security, IAM, logging, and alerts.
• Lead app-layer security incident response and coordinate with infra teams for cloud incidents.
• Support Compliance Lead and IT with strategic direction and prioritization.
• Align application security, IT, and compliance under a unified strategy and shared roadmaps.
• Oversee access reviews, identity governance, endpoint security, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance evidence.
