Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Riyadh seeks a Coordinator for Security Operations & Resilience to actively monitor threats, enforce security standards, and coordinate safeguards across offices, client sites, and travel arrangements.

You will conduct risk assessments, maintain data in the security platform, support incident readiness, and collaborate with HR, Technology, Legal, and Office Services while ensuring timely remediation and clear, actionable outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security, risk, international relations, political science, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in security, project management, or analytical role in a corporate context.
• Experience living in the Middle East with prior employment in an international corporation or NGO is highly preferred.
• Strong technical capabilities, with demonstrated curiosity and hands-on engagement with AI tools.
• Ability to conduct structured risk assessments with clear, actionable outputs.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous situations, sometimes under time pressure.
• Digitally and data literate, with proactive approach to leveraging technology.
• Values-driven with integrity and accountability.
• Collaborative, with strong problem solving and ownership from identification to resolution.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threats and enforce baseline security standards across the region.
• Review risks and hazards and verify safeguards across offices, client sites, transport, and accommodations.
• Execute control checks, track compliance, and remediate identified gaps.
• Maintain risk and safeguard data in security platforms with accuracy.
• Drive incident readiness and support real-time responses to local incidents.
• Collaborate with HR, Technology, Legal, Office Services, and Security teams globally.
• Translate policies into operational actions and ensure on-ground implementation.
• Possibly work outside standard hours to support incident response.
