Job description

Coordinator – Security Operations & Resilience at McKinsey & Company

You will be responsible for actively monitoring, assessing, and enforcing baseline security standards across the region.

This includes conducting regular reviews of threats and hazards that may impact the firm and taking direct action to verify that appropriate safeguards are implemented and functioning across offices, client sites, transportation, and accommodations.

You will execute routine control checks, track compliance with firm security standards, and follow up on identified gaps to ensure timely remediation. You will maintain visibility over risk levels and safeguard status using the firm’s security technology platforms, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.

You will drive incident readiness by validating preparedness measures (e.g., plans, contacts, drills) and support real-time response to local incidents, escalating where needed. During global events, you will contribute to coordinated monitoring and response efforts, including handling safety-related outreach from firm members.

As part of the global firm Security team, you will: monitor global incidents and respond to safety-related inquiries from firm members in a timely manner; maintain and update risk and safeguard data in the global security platform, ensuring completeness and accuracy; and contribute to continuous improvement by documenting incidents, creating playbooks, and sharing lessons learned.

Your responsibilities may require availability outside standard working hours to support incident response and time-sensitive monitoring.

You will work closely with consulting teams, functional partners (HR, Technology, Legal, Office Services), and stakeholders across the firm Security team and broader geography, as well as external security peers. You will provide practical, actionable security guidance and translate firm Security policies into operational actions, ensuring effective implementation on the ground.

You will be based in Riyadh and will be part of the MEO office cluster and be attached to the global firm Security Team. Your team’s mission is to empower exceptional people to deliver distinctive impact safely by harnessing our global network to bring independent perspectives that inform decisions, foster readiness, and enable response.
