Job summary

eSolutionsMEA is seeking a Collection Officer to manage receivables and follow up on outstanding debts. The role requires negotiating payment methods and maintaining ongoing communication with clients to mitigate company losses.

Key duties include developing collection schedules, monitoring overdue accounts, and maintaining accurate client records while building strong client relationships and reporting on status to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in collections or accounts receivable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research accounts and contact clients to agree on suitable payment plans and develop collection schedules and methods.
• Follow up with clients to collect receivables as per communicated deadlines and ensure payments are processed on time.
• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and debts, investigate historical data and institute legal actions, when necessary, in coordination with the direct manager.
• Maintain and update account status and client’s database while keeping track of all activities and payment records.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients, respond to queries and cascade complaints as and when necessary.
• Issue periodic statements and report on collection and accounts receivable status to concerned.
