Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Rail Systems Engineer to lead a technical group and oversee multidisciplinary engineering tasks within rail projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 18 years of progressive systems engineering experience within the rail industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in railway systems including Signalling, Telecom, SCADA, AFC, PSD, and integrated rail system architectures.
• Proven proficiency in Requirements Management, Interface Management, RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety), and Systems Assurance methodologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EN50126, EN50128, and EN50129 standards with substantial involvement in major rail infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs management and leadership responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
• Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates technical assignments.
• Maintains liaison with units inside and outside the organization.
• Acts independently on technical matters pertaining to the field; extensive progressive experience required.
• Manages group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities within the unit.
