Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Systems Assurance Manager for a major railway PMC project in the Gulf region. You will lead the systems assurance strategy and manage verification and validation across design, procurement, testing and handover.

The role requires senior engineering experience, strong RAMS knowledge and excellent stakeholder management to coordinate across civil, track, signaling and power teams in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 20+ years total professional experience.
• Extensive railway or transit project experience.
• Experience in PMC environment or client-facing oversight.
• Gulf/Middle East experience preferred.
• Knowledge of international safety and RAMS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall systems assurance for the railway PMC assignment.
• Develop and implement the project systems assurance strategy, plans and procedures.
• Oversee safety assurance, RAMS, verification and validation, and certification activities.
• Ensure compliance with employer requirements, contract requirements and standards.
• Review design submissions, contractor deliverables and test procedures for completeness.
• Coordinate with design, interface, testing, commissioning and operations teams for integrated delivery.
• Manage Hazard Log, ensuring hazards are identified, assessed and mitigated.
• Provide assurance input into testing readiness and handover.
• Prepare and present technical reports and risk registers to senior leadership.
