Job summary

SYSTRA invites applications for an Engineering Manager to lead design management for a major railway project in the Riyadh region. You will coordinate civil, structural, track, systems, and MEP disciplines, ensuring integrated, safe, and compliant design outputs throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive railway design experience, and excellent stakeholder management to drive collaboration across consultants and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Extensive experience in engineering and design management on infrastructure and railway projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate civil, structural, track, systems, and building disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design delivery for the railway project across all disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary design teams and consultants.
• Ensure timely delivery of coordinated design packages in line with schedules and requirements.
• Manage interfaces and integration across civil, structural, track, systems, MEP, and architecture.
• Oversee design reviews, submissions, and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, codes, and client standards.
• Drive design quality, constructability, and governance across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with construction, procurement, planning and stakeholder teams.
