Penspen is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist the PMS cost control team in monitoring and managing project costs across all phases. You will review contractor cost reports, budgets, and forecasts, maintain cost tracking, and support variance analysis to ensure alignment with baselines.

The role requires eight years of quantity surveying experience on major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects, with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.

Job Description

Assist the PMS cost control team in monitoring and managing project costs throughout all phases. Review contractor cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for completeness and accuracy. Maintain up-to-date cost tracking and support variance analysis. Monitor commitments, expenditures, and trends to ensure alignment with project baselines. Support monthly reporting, invoice verification, and change management tracking. Ensure consistency of cost data within PMS systems and assist in preparing cost reports for Client submission. Coordinate with planning, contracts, and procurement functions to ensure accurate financial control and reporting.

Required Experience Criteria In Years

Eight (8) years of experience in quantity surveying for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

Minimum Education Qualification Required

Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent.

The job location will be based on Alkhafji , Saudi Arabia.
