Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical quality and patient safety programs.
  • Rotate through departments to understand patient care journey and quality impact.
  • Shadow senior leaders to learn healthcare compliance, risk management, and decision-making processes.
  • Participate in clinical audits, chart reviews, and data collection to ensure standards of care and regulatory requirements.
  • Document and report on quality and safety events, and assist in root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuous improvement projects.
  • Support compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CARF) and other regulations.
  • Help gather and analyze patient satisfaction and outcome data to identify trends and inform quality initiatives.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop skills in healthcare quality, patient safety, and leadership.

Education
