Job summary

• Minimum five years of direct experience in Quality Control activities, with at least three years in construction inspection.
• Certificate or Diploma in the appropriate engineering discipline.
• Thorough working knowledge of applicable industry and international standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC Engineers shall be on site and report directly to the QA/QC Manager or QC Supervisor.
• Coordinate and monitor all inspection and testing activities, identifying and reporting nonconformance to project requirements.
• Organize and conduct surveillance and inspection duties for defined work, ensuring efficient recording and reporting of results as required.
• QA/QC Engineers from various disciplines, including Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Welding, etc., shall carry out inspections and release hold points by signing various Quality Records as proof of inspection conforming to specifications.
• Maintain a good relationship with all concerned parties at the site to ensure the smooth flow of work.
• Raise any non-conformity that occurs and hold the work until it is resolved with the proper approvals.
• Be fully responsible for the quality of work execution as per Project standards and approved documents.
• Ensure the Contractor’s Construction Team is using the current revisions of drawings and other documents.
• Inform the Company’s Inspection Engineer in advance regarding inspection activities as per project requirements.
