Job summary

Dar Wa Emaar is seeking a qualified QA/QC professional to oversee quality assurance and control on our civil construction projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on implementing QA/QC plans, inspecting materials and workmanship, and coordinating with project teams to resolve non-conformities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering and will maintain quality records, prepare inspection reports, and support the project handover with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with approved project specifications, construction standards, applicable codes, and company quality policies.
• Review and verify method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Establish quality control procedures to minimize construction defects, rework, and non-compliance.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and other project quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, consultants, contractors, and the Technical Office to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss quality performance, inspection findings, outstanding defects, and corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic QA/QC reports highlighting inspection results, non-conformities, recurring issues, and overall quality performance.

Job description

• Coordinate material inspections, laboratory testing, and field tests as required by project specifications.
• Identify construction defects, document observations, and follow up with contractors to ensure timely rectification.

Project Coordination and Reporting

• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, consultants, contractors, and the Technical Office to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss quality performance, inspection findings, outstanding defects, and corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic QA/QC reports highlighting inspection results, non-conformities, recurring issues, and overall quality performance.
• Maintain inspection logs, material approval records, testing reports, and project quality registers.
• Support project handover activities by ensuring that outstanding quality issues and defects are resolved and documented.
