Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector to monitor, inspect, and document construction activities for compliance with project quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of QC experience, preferably in a PMC setting, and strong knowledge of international standards.

The role requires reviewing ITPs, method statements, and submittals, issuing NCRs, and coordinating with QA/QC teams on site to ensure adherence to specifications and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control in construction.
• Familiar with international standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO 9001.
• Strong documentation, observation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and random inspections of site activities, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
• Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards, specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor and document quality performance of contractors and subcontractors.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, and quality documentation.
• Assist in material receiving inspections to confirm compliance with approved material submittals and technical specifications.
• Participate in regular site audits and provide support during internal and external quality assessments.
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, site engineers, and construction supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare daily QC inspection reports and update the QC tracking system.
