Job summary

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. in Al Jubayl, KSA seeks a QA/QC Supervisor to oversee day-to-day quality control across site disciplines and supervise QC Inspectors. Responsibilities include coordinating ITPs, NCRs, and audits, while ensuring accurate QC documentation and calibration of inspection equipment.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise with construction supervision to resolve quality issues. Knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on EPC/industrial construction projects with supervisory duties.
• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or related field; QC/inspection cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of QC Inspectors across all disciplines
• Ensure inspections, tests, and hold points are executed per approved ITPs
• Review daily QC inspection reports and ensure timely, accurate documentation
• Coordinate hold point notifications and inspection scheduling with client/third-party inspectors
• Support the QC Manager in managing the NCR process and corrective actions
• Conduct quality walkdowns and spot-check inspections across active work fronts
• Verify calibration and control of inspection and test equipment used by the QC team
• Coordinate training and technical guidance for QC Inspectors on inspection procedures and standards
• Liaise with construction supervision to resolve quality-related work front issues
• Support preparation and compilation of quality documentation for handover dossiers
• Report quality performance, trends, and issues to the QC Manager
• Support internal quality audits and readiness for client/third-party audits
