Job summary

MBRF Global Foods Company S.A. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Jeddah to ensure material quality, pest control oversight, and compliance with BRF standards. You will collect samples, verify procedures, and lead supplier audits.

The role requires a relevant degree or diploma, at least 2 years of experience, and ability to work with external service providers. Strong MSDS analysis and report preparation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Diploma in Food Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemical Engineering or Chemistry
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of quality standards, HACCP, GMP, food microbiology and biochemistry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
• Based in Jeddah or open to relocating to Jeddah

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, ingredients and packaging before issue for production.

What will you be doing at MBRF?

• Inspection of raw material, ingredients and packaging before issue for production by verification program
• Check the pest control record is updated and lead the pest control service supplier
• Collect sample of all raw material, ingredients, packaging material, air samples, water samples and swabbing samples, others and delivery to internal lab
• Verify cleaning procedures of production lines
• Ensure the implementation of quality procedures by verification of the processes, visual observation or other methods
• Provide technical guidance to production staff regarding Critical Control Points: what, where, how, when and why control
• Verify the record to check that corrective action described are as mentioned in quality program
• Act as a facilitator on implementing quality programs and suggest necessary changes
• Provide guidance on corrective actions whenever a deviation is detected in the production process
• Check the monitoring/fill verification records as per the planned schedule
• Raise the flag in case of any non-conformity found and advise the appropriate corrective actions
• Support on implementation of Food Safety & Quality Management system
• Analyze the MSDS of all chemicals used at site for their suitability
• Deal with External Service providers (e.g. Pest Control, Cleaning Service, Laundry, etc.)
• Assist external service providers to collect lab samples on site
• Conduct Quality Routes, other checks as required by the system
• Delivering GMP Trainings (Refresher, Induction) for employees, contractors, other service providers, visitors, etc. and other technical trainings
• Maintain necessary documents of the supplier approval and others required by the system, follow up with a responsible to get required documents
• Supplier audits, technical visit, if necessary, preparation, audit execution and follow up on non-conforming reports corrective actions
• Keep updated record of approval of supplier, follow up for any missing or expire documents and self-assessment questionnaire
• Food Safety Meeting material preparation and follow up on actions
• Service providers audits (Laundry, Canteen, etc.) preparation, audit execution and follow up on non-conforming reports corrective actions
• Ensure that raw material specifications are updated and include necessary description to prevent entering a non-conforming material to the process and follow up with the R&D team to include the necessary information
• Uploading raw material claims through the Salesforce SAP system, follow up with corrective actions
• Preparation of the training materials for any Quality Trainings including salesforce.
• QA TBT preparation
• Raise the Intracompany claim with value and without value to supplier
• Prepare Monthly supplier material findings report for Management and supplier
• Involve in any trail for new raw material and give his technical input
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
