Job summary

Egisgroup is seeking a seasoned QC Manager to lead quality control across design and construction phases of a major aviation project in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure design deliverables, construction work, testing, commissioning, and handover meet requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities include establishing PQCP, overseeing QC teams, reviewing ITPs, NCRs, and ensuring compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement with stakeholders and the QA company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in Quality Control/Quality Assurance with managerial experience.
• Proven experience managing QC teams on large-scale construction, aviation, or complex development projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inspection, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems; certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Quality Control activities for design phase, ensuring compliance with requirements, codes, standards, and aviation requirements.
• Establish and implement design quality control procedures, review workflows, checklists, and quality gates.
• Ensure design verification, checking, and approval processes are implemented and documented.
• Monitor the quality and completeness of design submissions at each project stage.
• Lead and manage the QC team, including discipline-specific QC personnel and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, including significant managerial or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience managing QC teams on large-scale construction, infrastructure, aviation, or complex development projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, construction inspection, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Excellent understanding of ITPs, method statements, NCRs, inspection procedures, material approvals, and quality documentation.
• Strong knowledge of relevant international standards, codes, specifications, and contractual quality requirements.
• Practical experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems; relevant certification is preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with Client, Contractor, and project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CQI/IRCA, ASQ, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
