Job summary

Fircroft is seeking a seasoned QA Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead end-to-end quality across enterprise applications in Saudi Arabia. You will define test strategies, oversee quality processes, and drive automation within CI/CD, partnering with engineering, product, and operations teams.

You will mentor QA engineers, review requirements, resolve complex defects, and implement robust testing architectures to accelerate reliable software delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of professional QA and software testing experience.
• Proven expertise in test strategy formulation, requirements review, quality processes, and resolving complex testing issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for complex enterprise applications.
• Review requirements and validate functional, integration, and security specifications.
• Establish and refine quality processes, testing governance models, and defect workflows.
• Investigate and resolve complex testing issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Architect and maintain automated testing frameworks for regression, load, and API verification.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure testability and high craftsmanship.
• Mentor junior and mid-level quality engineers on advanced testing methodologies and automation.
• Monitor quality metrics, test coverage, defect leakage, and release readiness.
• Champion continuous improvement across agile software development lifecycles.
