Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh seeks a QA/QC - Mechanical Inspector to ensure mechanical systems meet project specs, Saudi Building Code, and international standards. You will inspect installations, review submittals, and prepare detailed QA/QC reports while coordinating with project teams on quality issues.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC within construction/engineering, SCE registration, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years in QA/QC within construction/engineering.
  • SCE registration is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6 and related tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and SBC requirements.
  • Experience with ARAMCO or SABIC standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect mechanical systems, installations and materials for compliance with SBC/standards.
  • Monitor construction activities against quality plans and safety protocols.
  • Review mechanical drawings, submittals and method statements for accuracy.
  • Prepare QA/QC reports and document deviations/non-conformances.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure Saudization (Nitaqat) and GOSI compliance where applicable.
  • Verify ARAMCO/SABIC standards when required.
  • Collaborate with HSE to meet OSHA/NEBOSH/ISO 45001 standards.
  • Participate in audits and provide documentation and support.
  • Train site personnel on quality standards and best practices.

As a QA/QC - Mechanical Inspector, you will ensure that all mechanical systems and installations meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and international standards.You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to conduct inspections, verify compliance, and document findings.
