Job summary

Confidential SemiGovernment seeks an experienced PR Manager to oversee communications for an international tournament. You will shape how the event is presented to local, regional and global media, managing press relations year-round and running media operations on-site during tournament week.

You will build strong media partnerships, coordinate with various communications teams, and protect the tournament’s reputation through proactive messaging and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PR, media relations or communications.
• Strong network of media contacts locally and regionally; international contacts are a plus.
• Excellent English writing/editing; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Experience managing press conferences, media accreditation and on-site media operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during tournament week.
