Job summary

DowMartin Ltd in Dammam, Saudi Arabia seeks a commercially minded Proposal Specialist to manage tenders, proposals, bids and commercial submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

You will work closely with Business Development, Sales, Operations, Technical and Commercial teams to craft high-quality proposals that address client requirements and maximise the company’s chances of winning new business, with a strong grasp of the Saudi tendering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing proposals, tenders or bids for clients.
• Strong understanding of Saudi tendering environment and processes.
• Ability to interpret RFQs, RFPs and associated documentation.

Job description

A leading global technical services company providing inspection, testing, certification, asset integrity, geotechnical and engineering solutions across the energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors is seeking a commercially driven Proposal Specialist to support the continued growth and expansion of its business in Dammam Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the preparation of tenders, proposals, bids, quotations and commercial submissions ensuring that all submissions are accurate, competitive, professionally presented and delivered within the required deadlines.

• The role will work closely with Business Development, Sales, Operations, Technical and Commercial teams to develop high-quality proposals that address client requirements and maximize the company's chances of winning new business.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and tendering environment is highly desirable, together with experience working within inspection, testing, NDT, asset integrity, engineering, oil & gas or other technical services.
• The ideal candidate will be a commercially aware and highly organised proposal professional who can independently manage multiple tenders from initial review through to final submission. Previous experience and an established understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, clients and tendering environment will be a significant advantage.

Key Requirements

• Experience in proposal management, tendering, bid management, commercial or pre-sales roles.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi tendering.
• Experience preparing proposals and tenders for major clients, contractors, EPC companies or industrial organisations.
• Experience within inspection, testing, certification, NDT, asset integrity, engineering, oil & gas, energy, industrial or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, scopes of work, RFQs, RFPs and tender documentation.
