Job summary

Expat Careers International is looking for a planning/scheduling engineer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-9 years of experience in mining or process engineering, with at least 3 years focused specifically on Planning and Scheduling. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and fluency in English are essential. The role includes developing and managing the Master Project Schedule and performing schedule analysis to ensure project timelines are met.

Job description

Responsibilities

Development and continual monitoring and updating of Master Project Schedule/s in collaboration with Senior Project Engineers, Project Managers and Engineering Manager. Perform schedule analysis for various activities identifying the projects' time frames and life cycles, critical milestone and critical path activities as well as monitoring the required resources. Assist in the compilation of cost estimates and budgets. Maintain the Departmental Risk Register.

Qualifications

Must hold a higher technical qualification, with at least 7-9 years mining or process engineering experience of which a minimum of 3 years + should have been dedicated to Planning and/or Scheduling. Specific experience in Microsoft Project Software is a must. Fluency in both oral and written English is required.
