Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Scheduling/Planning Engineer to lead the project controls team on our PMS project in India. You will review early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) with a focus on cost, schedule and risk, supporting the Project Management group.

The role requires offshore jacket fabrication planning experience, progress measurement, earned value management and regular progress reporting. A related engineering degree and substantial experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree required.
• 8–12 years of experience depending on alternative.
• Experience in offshore jacket fabrication projects.
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, fabrication, loadout, and installation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls team on the PMS project.
• Review FEL1 and FEL2 deliverables for cost, schedule and risk.
• Coordinate with Project Management on controls activities and reporting.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports and recovery schedules.

to work in our PMS project in India. The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team.

The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), as far as cost, schedule and risk is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• Education:
  Alternative (I): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent closely related field.
  Alternative (II): Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Planning and Scheduling.
• Years of Experience:
  Alternative (I): Eight (8) Years
  Alternative (II): Twelve (12) years

Qualifications

• An engineering, construction, or project management degree.
