Job summary

Abunayyan Holding is seeking an experienced Projects Planner / Planning Engineer to join the Projects/Operations team in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing and managing project time plans to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

You will define goals, coordinate activities, monitor progress, and deliver regular reports while collaborating with Project Managers and clients to schedule and forecast resources and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in project planning.
• Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Electrical environments.
• Experience with Aramco, SABIC, Marafiq, SWCC preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Asta Powerproject.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define project goals, objectives, and detailed schedules.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare short- and long-term resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress, risks, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Identify changes in project scope and support planning adjustments.
• Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports.
• Gather actual project data, update schedules, and prepare reliable forecasts.
• Support Project Managers in Integrated Baseline Review and baseline schedule development.
• Coordinate client planning activities and respond to customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage risk assessments for assigned projects.

• Experience with key clients such as Aramco, SABIC, Marafiq, SWCC, or similar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Asta Powerproject.
• Strong reporting, communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of engineering principles, budgeting, and project control.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
