The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The role focuses on aligning projects with business objectives, managing risks, and supporting continuous improvement in project delivery.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Leadership and Strategy

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects under the section.
  • Ensure project objectives, scope, and deliverables are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic direction and set performance targets for project teams.

Project Planning and Execution

  • Approve project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Resolve escalated project issues, bottlenecks, and risks.

Resource and Stakeholder Management

  • Allocate and manage resources across projects to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support effective communication and coordination between cross-functional teams.

Financial Management

  • Oversee project budgets and cost control measures.
  • Approve financial forecasts, resource allocations, and contract-related payments.
  • Track project financial performance and initiate corrective actions when needed.

Risk and Compliance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all projects within the section.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, project governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare and present section performance reports to senior management.
  • Monitor KPIs, project metrics, and overall portfolio health.
  • Implement lessons learned to improve project delivery processes.

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
  • Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.

  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.
