Job summary

Velents is seeking a Saudi Project Manager to lead AI implementation delivery for government and enterprise clients from kickoff to go-live. You will be the primary client contact and coordinate Riyadh and Cairo teams, ensuring production-ready deployments.

The role requires experience with Saudi government or large enterprises, and collaboration across engineering, AI/ML, QA, and customer success, in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience delivering technology or software projects.
• Experience with Saudi government entities or large enterprises.
• Solid grasp of waterfall, agile, and hybrid methods; familiarity with Jira or MS Project.
• Native Arabic and professional English, both written and spoken.
• Strong stakeholder management and budgeting awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run a number of concurrent client projects, covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Serve as the day-to-day client lead, running steering committees, status meetings, and progress reporting in Arabic and English.
• Turn client requirements and tender scopes into clear delivery plans, work breakdowns, and acceptance criteria with the solution and engineering teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-border teams (engineering, AI/ML, QA, customer success) and external partners.
• Manage project documentation for government clients, including project charters, SOWs, change requests, UAT sign-offs, handover packages, and closure reports.
• Track milestones tied to invoicing and payment, and work with finance to keep collections on schedule.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, and elevate with clear options rather than surprises.
• Make sure deliveries meet local regulatory and data requirements (such as PDPL, NDMO data management standards, and client security policies), working with the technical and compliance teams.
• Support pre‑sales when needed with delivery plans, timelines, and effort estimates for proposals and Etimad tenders.
• Capture lessons learned and help improve Velents' delivery playbook.

The Role

We're looking for a Saudi Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI implementations for government and enterprise clients in the Kingdom. You'll run projects from kickoff to go-live and handover. You'll be the main point of contact for client stakeholders, and you'll coordinate our technical teams in Riyadh and Cairo along with partner teams. This role suits someone who knows how Saudi government and enterprise projects actually run and wants to deliver AI products that go into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience managing technology or software delivery projects.
• Proven delivery experience with Saudi government entities or large enterprises (for example ministries, authorities, banks, telecom, or semi‑government organizations).
• Solid grasp of project management methods (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.
• Native Arabic and professional English, both written and spoken, including formal reports and presentations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle senior client counterparts and competing priorities calmly.
• Commercial awareness around budgets, change requests, and milestone‑based billing.

Nice to Have

• PMP, PRINCE2, or an agile certification (PMI-ACP, CSM).
• Experience delivering AI, contact-center, chatbot, document management, or data platform projects.
• Familiarity with government procurement and Etimad tender processes.
• Experience working with international or remote technical teams.
• Exposure to integration projects involving platforms like Genesys, IBM, or similar enterprise systems.
