Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Jeddah team to lead landscape architecture and infrastructure design projects across Saudi Arabia. You will manage multidisciplinary design teams, oversee delivery from concept to detailed design, and ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, client relations, and regulatory knowledge to drive successful project delivery and future opportunities within the region.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture and infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years in a project management capacity.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale urban development and public realm projects.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and leading consultants in Saudi Arabia or GCC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of landscape and infrastructure design projects from inception through detailed design and tender stages.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including landscape architects, civil engineers, irrigation specialists, utilities engineers, and other technical disciplines.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure successful delivery against programme, quality, commercial, and client expectations.
• Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks and opportunities.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support successful project delivery and future business growth.
• Facilitate coordination with government authorities, developers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, workshops, and client presentations.
• Provide project leadership for landscape architecture and associated infrastructure design packages.
• Coordinate design integration between landscape, civil, utilities, irrigation, roads, public realm, and urban development elements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Saudi Arabian regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Review design deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Support project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and change management.
• Monitor project profitability and ensure effective commercial performance.
• Assist with the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for new opportunities.
• Support contract administration and project reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary design teams, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring the successful execution of high-profile developments from concept through detailed design.

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of landscape and infrastructure design projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards. The role requires strong project management capabilities combined with a sound understanding of landscape architecture and supporting infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a project management capacity.
• Demonstrated experience delivering landscape architecture and public realm design projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary infrastructure design projects including utilities, roads, drainage, irrigation, and associated civil works.
• Proven track record managing large-scale urban development, mixed-use, hospitality, public realm, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within a leading engineering consultancy environment.
• Previous experience delivering projects within Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region is highly desirable.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
