Job summary

Compass Project Consulting in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead mixed-use and hospitality developments from planning through handover. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk, coordinating with developers, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires 12–15 years of construction PM experience, PMP or equivalent, and excellent English communication. Travel within the GCC may be expected.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of project management experience in construction, real estate development, or consultancy.
• Proven track record on mixed-use and hospitality projects.
• Experience on the developer or client side is essential.
• Experience with a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management, procurement and contract administration.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with developers, clients, consultants and contractors.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mixed-use and hospitality projects from planning and design through construction, delivery, and handover.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall performance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with developers, client representatives, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Manage project planning, progress monitoring, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Oversee design coordination, procurement, tendering, and contract administration in line with project requirements.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, variations, and change management to maintain financial control.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead project meetings, provide regular progress reports, and communicate project status, risks, and mitigation measures to senior management and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, optimize resources, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure effective coordination between all project stakeholders and timely resolution of technical, commercial, and operational issues.
