Job summary

Vrinda Global is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – OHTL to manage and coordinate engineering and construction activities for 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires expertise in reviewing contract documents, specifications, drawings, and SEC standards.

The candidate should have 10–15 years in transmission line projects, with at least 5 years in 380 kV OHTL EPC projects, and preferred credentials such as SCE registration and PMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in transmission line projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in 380 kV or higher voltage OHTL EPC projects.
• Experience with SEC, National Grid SA, or GCC utility/EPC contractors (preferred).
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration.
• A SEC-approved engineer is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• NEBOSH/IOSH certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering and construction activities for 380kV OHTL projects.
• Review EPC contract documents, technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and SEC standards.
• Coordinate transmission line foundation, tower erection, stringing, and associated civil works.
• Review design calculations, tower spotting profiles, sag-tension calculations, and construction drawings.
• Manage RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), design changes, and engineering revisions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and monitor project KPIs, productivity, and resource utilisation.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, energisation, punch‑list closure, and final handover.
